شاید شش سال زمان طولانی برای منتظر بودن باشد اما شاید هم ارزش داشته باشد . مطمئنا Shape of Despair از پس انتظار هواداران خود، که این همه سال صبر کزدند را با شنیدن انتشار آلبوم جدید گروه مورد علاقشون فراموش کرده اند ، بر می آید . Written In My Scars نام آخرین شاهکار این غول های فنلاندیست که پی از شش سال از آخرین فعالیت گروه، در سال 2010 منتشر شده و متاسفانه تنها دو تراک 6 دقیقه ای دارد .. تراک اول همنام این آلبوم می باشد که از مسیر زندگی صحبت می کند و شنونده را به بیراههء لحظات پوسیده ذهن خویش می برد . ریتم کند ملودی ، گیتار و کی برد ، وکال هارش ، همه و همه ساختار یک موسیقی شنیدنی را از فوق ستاره های دووم متال پدیدار می سازد . تراک دوم The Bliss Of Sudden Loss ادامهء مظمون شعر اثر قبل را دنبال می کند اما با تشریح اعمال بصری روزگار . سعادت از دست رفته ، امید نا امید شده ، هویت گم شده ، که لحظات منسوخ را تداعی می کنند . ریتم های تند تر و محتوای بیشتر نسبت به اثر قبل تکمیل کننده این پیش درآمدِ گروه فنلاندی، پس از شش سال می باشد . بسیاری از منتقدین در نقد های این آلبوم آن را کم تر از انتظارِ این گروه پر آوازه خواندند اما امید آنها به آلبومی که قرار است در سال جاری منتشر شود به طرفداران انگیزه کافی برای حمایت را می دهد ..
Maybe six years is a long time for waiting but it can be worth. Shape of Despair answers their emotion of their fans by releasing their new album after six years. “Written in My Scars” is the name of the last masterpiece of this majestic Finnish band that after six years since their last activity has been released. Unfortunately, this album has 2 six-minute tracks. The first track namesake to the album and talks about the path of life and leads the listener to the fragile moments of their mind. The slow rhythm of guitar, keyboard, melody and harsh vocal, all of them make the grant structure music of this Doom Metal star. The second track, The Bliss of Sudden Loss, follow the last track’s lyric theme but with expansion of life itself. The loss of felicity, the dying hope and absence of identification that shows the obsolete moments are the features of this track. Faster rhythm and the deepest conception due to the last album are somehow complicated. So many critics said this album is lower than what we expected from SOD. But they are waiting for the new album in the new year. And that’s enough for patronage of fans.
